Of the hundreds of things I’ve learn from my first year as a parent, the one thing that Zo is unknowingly teaching me is patience. Not just patience with an infant, but patience with people, patience with my partner, and surprisingly – Patience with myself. Nothing will go truly according to plan, and thats ok. The sheer amount of new things that require incredible amounts of your time is a lot to handle. Things don’t need to be perfect and if we don’t get to take her 1st birthday photos til 2 weeks later because we couldn’t find the damn suitcase, thats ok. In time things will still work out, and calming my inner critic – giving myself, my partner, and everyone in my life more credit is a new goal for me. Thanks Zosia Happy First Birthday
